Thursdays are for DJs

Unwind, connect with fellow members, and enjoy an exclusive DJ set at ökēn, TheMerode’s cocktail bar

TheMerode invites you to join us for an evening of music, movement, and feel-good energy with Donna Bummer, a Brussels-based DJ whose sets celebrate the timeless connection between disco and classic house.

Inspired by the joyful roots of dance music, Donna Bummer blends funky grooves, soulful rhythms, and irresistible basslines into uplifting sets designed to bring people together. Her musical universe is warm, playful, and deeply danceable — creating an atmosphere where connection, freedom, and collective joy naturally take centre stage.

Her journey began with the Antwerp collective All The Lovers, where she became a familiar face within the queer music scenes of Antwerp and Ghent, refining both her sound and her unique approach behind the decks. Deeply influenced by the queer origins of house music, Donna sees every dancefloor as an inclusive space where music becomes a shared experience.

For this special DJ Night at TheMerode, expect an evening filled with disco-infused house, soulful grooves, infectious rhythms, and feel-good classics that effortlessly move between nostalgia and contemporary dancefloor energy. Every track is carefully selected with one simple ambition: to create moments of connection through music.

An invitation to dance, celebrate, and lose yourself in an uplifting musical journey where groove, joy, and community come together until the very last track.
