The new faces of philanthropy: the rebels

How can you create a positive impact through philanthropy ? Hear the testimonies of our guests Marc Pittie, Anne-Sophie Eyméoud and Myriam Vander Elst on the way to use social recognition to build a better society.
They have exciting jobs with high social recognition. They want to make a positive impact in the world. Some leave and change jobs, others stay and act from within.

Let’s listen to the testimonies of a lawyer, a banker and an advertiser who are more than committed to the common good and the notion of sharing.

Timing :
- 17:30 > Welcome
- 18:00 – 19:00 > Roundtable discussion

speaker

Myriam Vander Elst

Myriam Vander Elst is Chief Engagement Officer at EPIC, a global foundation that reinvents philanthropy to empower and protect children, youth, and our planet. Bridging the gap between donors and nonprofits, Epic is reinstating trust, transparency and impact through a rigorous selection and monitoring process to make giving the norm. Having impact is what Myriam seeks to achieve every day, with determination, conscientiously, by investing her time, energy, strength of conviction and commitment. If she succeeds so well, it is surely because she is inhabited, as she says, by the meaning of her action, by the real and imperative stake.
