The 10 traps of power: how to thrive and survive

Ahead of International Women’s day, join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to women in leadership.

The first seats are available now.

The remaining seats will be released on February 21 at 6pm.

Join us at the heart of European power for a timely conversation about the realities of being a woman at the summit of power. Together with current and former female leaders, we will explore how they’ve navigated the non-legal barriers that persist in politics and leadership.

Centred on the book “Confronting the 10 Traps of Power”, written by Katrien Van den Broeck, this evening will highlight the invaluable lessons that women—and men—can draw from this survival guide for leaders. Featuring interviews with prominent figures like Margrethe Vestager, the book empowers women in politics to confront and overcome the most challenging pitfalls in their careers. Beyond politics, it offers insights into thriving in any leadership position, helping leaders maintain control under pressure.

This is more than a conversation—it’s a call to action to inspire and equip the next generation of female leaders to rise, thrive, and break through barriers.

Don't miss this event at the heart of European power, designed to inspire more female leaders to rise and thrive amidst the challenges of politics.

This is an event made in collaboration with the Alliance of Her and the European Liberal Forum.
