Henry joined The Fine Art Group in 2018 and works closely with the Group’s private clients, providing expert guidance and due diligence on sales and acquisitions from 1900 to the present day. Since joining the Group he’s built several significant international collections.
Before joining The Fine Art Group Henry co-directed a commercial gallery in London, receiving reviews in frieze, ArtForum, Art Review, Art Monthly, Financial Times, The Guardian and The Art Newspaper, among others. He also spent several years at the Contemporary Art Society and has continued to write over the past decade with contributions to numerous Phaidon publications including Vitamin P3, Flying Too Close to the Sun, Vitamin T, Great Women Artists and Prime: Art’s Next Generation.
Like many of his colleagues, Henry is an enthusiastic collector with a wide-ranging collection of contemporary art, encompassing paintings, works on paper, photographs, prints, sculpture and design.
Henry received his MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art after completing a BA (first class) in art history at the University of Cambridge.
