Small Circles Networking is a member-led breakfast format designed to spark meaningful conversations within our community.

Hosted at TheStables at 8:15 AM, each session is initiated and led by a fellow member who brings forward a topic, question, or area of expertise to explore with others. The format is intentionally intimate, encouraging open dialogue, thoughtful exchange, and genuine connection.

For this session, join Marine Demeure de Lespaul, who will open the discussion around an essential question for any social media strategy:

“Are your followers actually your customers?”

At a time when brands strive to be visible everywhere, this conversation invites participants to step back and reflect: visibility is important, but visible to whom — and for what purpose?

Drawing from the participants’ own experiences, questions, and business realities, the discussion will explore key topics such as audience targeting, content relevance, engagement quality, and conversion. Are your current audiences aligned with your actual customers? Do your contents attract the right people? Are your campaigns generating genuine purchase intention or simply visibility?

The session aims to demonstrate how social media can be used as a strategic business tool rather than simply a showcase or a platform for constant posting. Beyond likes and popularity, well-designed social media strategies have the power to transform attention into action and visibility into measurable business results.

Designed as an open and collaborative roundtable, this breakfast conversation invites participants to challenge their current social media approach, exchange perspectives, and leave with clearer insights and actionable ideas.

co-founder of Social Return, a social media agency helping brands transform social platforms into real drivers of visibility, intention, and business impact. Through her work, Marine supports brands in building result-oriented social media strategies, combining content creation, audience targeting, paid media campaigns, data analysis, and performance optimisation. Her approach is rooted in a simple conviction: social media should not only create visibility, but connect the right message with the right audience at the right moment. Alongside her professional activity, Marine is also a Digital Marketing Professor at ECS Brussels, where she guides students through today’s digital and social media challenges.
