An Intimate Gathering Created by Members, for Members
Small Circles Networking is a member-led breakfast format designed to spark meaningful conversations within our community.
Hosted at TheStables at 8:15 AM, each session is initiated and led by a fellow member who brings forward a topic, question, or area of expertise to explore with others. The format is intentionally intimate, encouraging open dialogue, thoughtful exchange, and genuine connection.
For this session, join Sara Khamrich for a fascinating conversation exploring one of the world's most iconic cultural events:
"What really happens behind the scenes at the Cannes Film Festival?"
While the Festival de Cannes is known globally for its red carpet, international stars, and prestigious awards, it is also a major meeting point for filmmakers, producers, journalists, and industry professionals from around the world. But beyond the glamour and media attention, what does the festival truly look like from the inside?
Drawing on her experience in the film industry, artist management, public relations, and film journalism, Sara will share her personal insights into the reality of Cannes. Together, participants will explore what happens behind closed doors, how professionals navigate the intensity of the festival, and why Cannes remains one of the most influential platforms in global cinema.
Designed as an open and interactive roundtable, this conversation invites participants to exchange perspectives, ask questions, and discover the untold stories behind one of the world's most celebrated film festivals. Guests are also encouraged to come prepared with a favourite film recommendation to share with the group.
Breakfast is at each participant’s own cost.
Join the circle, share your thoughts, and connect with fellow members around the table.
Please note that this roundtable will be held in French.
