Small Circle Networking Sessions - Cybersecurity for SMEs

An Intimate Gathering Created by Members, for Members

Small Circles Networking is a member-led breakfast format designed to spark meaningful conversations within our community.

Hosted at TheStables at 8:15 AM, each session is initiated and led by a fellow member who brings forward a topic, question, or area of expertise to explore with others. The format is intentionally intimate, encouraging open dialogue, thoughtful exchange, and genuine connection.

For this session, join Martina Castiglioni for an interactive conversation on one of today's most pressing business challenges: how can SMEs turn cybersecurity from a regulatory obligation into a true business enabler?

Drawing on her experience across the private, public, and governmental sectors, Martina will share practical insights into how organizations can strengthen their cyber resilience while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. As a Manager at KPMG Belgium, she advises clients on cybersecurity governance, operational resilience, and compliance with frameworks such as DORA, NIS2, and the AI Act, while helping businesses transform cybersecurity into a driver of long-term value.

Together, participants will explore the key cybersecurity challenges facing SMEs today, discuss what is truly required from a regulatory perspective, and identify where businesses should focus their efforts first. The conversation will also cover practical governance, risk management, customer trust, and how a well-designed cybersecurity strategy can support innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth rather than simply fulfilling compliance requirements.

Designed for entrepreneurs, business leaders, consultants, and anyone responsible for managing risk or driving business growth, this session combines expert knowledge with practical discussion and real-world examples.

As always, the discussion is designed as an open and collaborative exchange where participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another's perspectives.

Breakfast is at each participant's own cost.

Join the circle, share your insights, and connect with fellow members around the table.

Please note that this roundtable will be held in English.
