An Intimate Gathering Created by Members, for Members
Small Circles Networking is a member-led breakfast format designed to spark meaningful conversations within our community.
Hosted at TheStables at 8:15 AM, each session is initiated and led by a fellow member who brings forward a topic, question, or area of expertise to explore with others. The format is intentionally intimate, encouraging open dialogue, thoughtful exchange, and genuine connection.
For this session, join Christine Ayoub for a guided and interactive discussion on the theme: “Why Cultural Philanthropy?”
Together, you will explore key questions shaping the future of cultural engagement today:
What are the current challenges of cultural philanthropy? Why is it essential to sustain culture? And beyond financial contributions, what does it truly mean to engage?
The conversation will also dive into how to involve younger generations, and how cultural philanthropy can support projects deeply aligned with the mission of institutions such as the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium—ensuring that contributions reinforce artistic vision while creating lasting impact.
Through engaging exchanges with actors of the cultural field, the session will highlight how cultural engagement can address broader societal challenges, from social cohesion to education and inclusion. It will offer a fresh perspective on how philanthropy can become a meaningful driver of change and a powerful vector of connection and healing.
Designed as a space for honest dialogue, this small-group conversation invites participants to share experiences, gain new perspectives, and reflect on how to create lasting meaning—for both patrons and the public. Together, you will explore how to move beyond transactional support to build deeper connections rooted in shared purpose, emotional resonance, and enduring cultural value.
Breakfast is at each participant’s own cost.
Join the circle, share your insights, and connect with fellow members around the table.
