A Hands-On Cooking Class on the Art of Fresh Italian Pasta
Welcome to the Pasta Atelier – a hands-on, recurring cooking workshop led by Chef Leo from CIAO. Dive into the fascinating world of Italian pasta and discover the secrets of regional specialties.
Between techniques, delicious stories, and expert tips, you’ll explore the art of authentic Italian pasta-making, from dough to sauce. During this session, you’ll learn how to prepare a classic fresh egg pasta dough and shape it into different formats such as tagliatelle, tortelli, and ravioli.
To accompany your pasta, you’ll also prepare a delicious asparagus pesto with ricotta, parmesan, pine nuts, and fresh herbs, a fresh and seasonal recipe that perfectly highlights the flavors of spring.
The workshop will begin with a presentation, before moving on to preparing the dough, making the asparagus pesto, and learning how to shape different pasta formats.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your handmade pasta, freshly prepared pesto, and the recipes so you can recreate this delicious dish at home.
