Menopause and andropause: Let’s talk about it at work

A candid conversation with Dr Marc Naett and Tamara Eelsing on how hormonal change affects everyone—and why it’s time for workplaces to face the facts.

For decades, menopause was treated as a taboo subject. Today, it’s finally entering public conversation. But what about andropause -or man-opause—the gradual hormonal decline in men? Why do our workplaces, and health statistics in general, continue to overlook

both realities?

In this frank discussion, moderated by Béa Ercolini, pro-age medicine specialist Dr

Marc Naett and Tamara Eelsing, Diversity Manager at STIB and the driving force

behind bringing the topic into the boardroom, explore what’s at stake. Together,

they’ll examine the physical, emotional, and professional dimensions of these life

stages—and the changes organisations can make to better support employees

experiencing them.
