The Jerry Kuan Trio is a jazz-inspired piano trio that blends modern jazz with groovy rhythms, odd meters and storytelling melodies. The trio is led by Taiwanese pianist Jerry Kuan, who has made a name for himself since arriving in Brussels a few years ago. Known for his solid technique and inspiring musical personality, Kuan is a sought-after sideman while also developing his own projects as a bandleader. For this trio, he surrounds himself with musicians from Brussels’ new jazz generation: Emanuel Van Mieghem on double bass and Marius Loer on drums.
