An expert who speaks to animals, and the science that might explain why
Amelia Kinkade has spent three decades doing something most people consider impossible: communicating with animals. Not through behaviour or body language, but through what she calls interspecies intuition. Her client list spans veterinarians, Olympic show jumping teams, and the British Royal Cavalry. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, on the BBC, and on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. She has also been invited to Buckingham Palace.
The questions she raises matter: What do we miss when we assume animals cannot communicate beyond instinct? What happens when elite equestrian teams take that premise seriously? And what might a deeper attentiveness to animals teach us about ourselves?
Amelia has worked alongside Olympic show jumping horses and the Edouard Rothschild stables on the Longines Global Championship Tour, contributing to victories at major international competitions. She is also the founder of a non-profit dedicated to wildlife conservation and education across Africa.
Join us for lunch with La Table des Cavaliers founder Fabio Ghezzi Morgalanti, for a conversation about perception, connection, and what we might be failing to hear.
