Join us for an exclusive visit behind the scenes of Le Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie.
Explore behind the scenes and discover the unseen places of La Monnaie, the opera house located in the heart of Brussels.
Sharing their enthusiasm and passion for opera, the guides of La Monnaie will take you into the magnificent Theatre hidden behind the imposing neoclassical façade.
From the absolute amateur to the experienced music lover, you will wander through the corridors from the Entrance Hall to the Grand Foyer, from the Escalier d'Honneur to the Loge Royale, from the Bonbonnière to the Salon Royal, to discover the historical and architectural wealth of the place.
Through great stories and small anecdotes, the process of creating a production and the current state of the opera house will no longer hold any secrets for you. The guided tour also includes a visit to the Museum Space, where an unusual heritage is on display, including parts of the old machinery and a unique, large-scale model of an Italian-style baroque theatre.
