Redefining Jazz with Nathan Péron
TheMerode invites you to start your day immersed in the elegant world of jazz, guided by the expressive piano playing of Nathan Péron and accompanied by a talented vocalist for a warm and intimate musical experience.
This special morning format is presented in partnership with Conservamus, a Brussels-based non-profit association dedicated to preserving and supporting musical life in the city. Founded in 2007, Conservamus brings together institutions, artists and civil society around the Royal Conservatories of Brussels, working to safeguard this historic site while fostering the next generation of musicians. Through this collaboration, Conservamus helps bring outstanding young artists to TheMerode, creating new opportunities for musical encounters in the heart of the city.
A promising young pianist from the Brussels jazz scene, Nathan Péron combines technical finesse with a deep sensitivity for improvisation and storytelling through music. Influenced by both traditional and contemporary jazz, his playing is characterised by elegance, spontaneity and emotional depth.
For this special edition of Jazz for Breakfast, Nathan Péron will be joined by a vocalist, creating a refined dialogue between piano and voice. Together, they will explore a repertoire of jazz standards and timeless melodies, offering guests a captivating and intimate performance to start the day.
A refreshing and inspiring way to begin the morning, accompanied by fresh pastries at TheOtium Bar, as live music gently fills the room and sets the tone for the day ahead — a carefully curated experience designed to awaken curiosity, creativity and connection through music.
