Jazz for breakfast : an intimate performance

Redefining jazz with Margaux Vranken & Filippe Caporali

TheMerode, in collaboration with Conservamus — the non-profit organisation supporting the renovation of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels — invites you to start your day with the warmth and poetry of live jazz.

For a morning where time slows down, and Jazz becomes the language.

Pianist, composer, and singer Margaux Vranken (Brussels) and double bass player Filippe Caporali (São Paulo) come together around a luminous and sensitive form of jazz, blending classical influences, Brazilian rhythms, and contemporary improvisation. Both laureates of prestigious awards – including the Toots Thielemans Jazz Award – and trained in renowned conservatories, they offer a musical experience that is at once intimate, poetic, and vibrant..

The occasion to discover our brand new place 'TheOtium Bar' if you haven’t yet, and to enjoy fresh pastries as music fills up the air. Carefully curated to get inspired for your day.
