Inauguration of the Marina Abramović Salon

On April 24th, TheMerode unveils the Marina Abramović Salon, marking the first step in a long-term initiative to dedicate its spaces to transformative artists who shape contemporary culture.

This launch sets the stage for a unique vision: weaving art into the Club’s fabric, where each room becomes a tribute to influential artists and a hub for ongoing dialogue. The Marina Abramović Salon is the first of these artistic transformations, fostering a lasting connection between artist, space, and community.

To celebrate, TheMerode presents a special exhibition of digital works by Marina Abramović, in collaboration with TAEX digital art platform. This exclusive showcase honors Abramović’s pioneering role in performance art and her evolution into digital spaces, continuing to shape the global art scene.

As one of the most influential living artists, Abramović has spent over five decades redefining the artist-audience relationship through themes of endurance, presence, and consciousness. Her work now explores new dimensions, with digital art exhibitions featured at major international platforms like the Venice Biennale.
