Endocrine Disruptors: Facts, Half-Truths, or Myths?

How much of what you believe about chemicals in your daily life is based on science—and how much is shaped by fear?

Endocrine disruptors have become a frequent headline topic. These substances can interfere with hormonal systems, potentially affecting processes such as growth, fertility, and metabolism. Alarming messages about everyday products secretly containing harmful chemicals—impacting your health, your family, and the environment—are widely circulated. In today’s information-saturated world, where opinions can spread instantly to a global audience, distinguishing scientific evidence from half-truths and unfounded claims is increasingly challenging. In this Talk, Dr. Marie Collard will delve into the science behind endocrine-disrupting chemicals, provide you with the tools to critically assess the risks associated with exposure, and debunk some of the most persistent myths surrounding this topic.
