Becoming a writer

From the origins of a vocation to literary creation: insights from Alexandre Lacroix, Editor-in-Chief of Philosophie Magazine

How does one become a writer? What struggles shape the journey from the first line to the publication of a novel? How can we give form to our creative force?

In an intimate conversation, philosopher, writer, and editor-in-chief of Philosophie Magazine, Alexandre Lacroix, will explore these questions, drawing on his latest novel "Devenir écrivain" (Allary Editions, 2025) to share insights, personal experiences, and reflections on the art—and the adventure—of writing.

The talk will be followed by a book signing of Devenir écrivain with Alexandre Lacroix, organised by UOPC Bookshop.
