AURA / ARUA: A performance at WIELS - thursday

Discover the immersive performance by Gaëlle Choisne, presented as part of the exhibition “Réalisme Magique”.

Join us for an enchanting evening at Wiels as part of the exhibition "Réalisme Magique," featuring the captivating performance of Gaëlle Choisne. In "AURA / ARUA," Choisne conjures a sensitive space through the art of improvisation, creating a portal of shadows and light that beckons care and healing.

Gaëlle Choisne describes this fusion of voice, movement, and music as a "narrative rupture," weaving together fragments of memory that lack the connections to form a complete sentence. The dance of Kettly Noël, the guitar of Daniele Morelli, and the voice of Gaëlle Choisne resonate in an energetic awakening, drawing from the intertwined notes of Haitian dance, vodou, and the improvisational traditions of jazz music.

Don't miss this unique and immersive experience —proudly supported by TheMerode.
