A hands-On Workshop
Join us for a hands-on candle holder workshop using a unique compressed earth technique in collaboration with Earthstone, designed for beginners and curious minds alike.
The 1.5-hour session unfolds in two parts: a short theoretical introduction to this unique practice and the Belgian soils — how to recognize them and understand their properties — followed by a practical session in which each participant will craft two candle holders.
Earthstone, Damian Jodorowsky and Timoté Rouffignac, is a duo of artists and industrial designers based in Brussels. The essence of their work lies in the use of a singular material, developed specifically for this project, which combines the raw materiality of earth with the durability of stone. By sourcing materials from urban excavation sites, they promote a local and accessible approach to object production. Through the combination of contemporary industrial processes and craftsmanship, they create objects that are both ecological and circular.
Spaces are limited — an intimate gathering for those who value the luxury of slow time, thoughtful conversation, and the timeless beauty of handmade creation.
