Thursdays are for DJs

DJ Night with Sebcat

TheMerode invites you to join us for an evening of music, movement and eclectic energy with Sebcat, DJ, selector and founder of Rebel Up!, one of Brussels’ long-standing collectives dedicated to bringing global sounds and adventurous music to the city’s nightlife.

For years, Rebel Up! has been creating spaces where different cultures, sounds and communities meet, with a strong focus on music that moves beyond the usual boundaries. Sebcat brings this same spirit of curiosity and openness to his DJ sets, connecting rhythms and influences from across the globe into unexpected and highly danceable journeys.

For this special DJ Night at TheMerode, expect an eclectic and vibrant selection inspired by the sounds of the Rebel Up! universe — rhythmic, warm, left-field and full of surprises. A set designed to take you somewhere new while keeping the dancefloor moving.

Sebcat’s approach is rooted in discovery: bringing together sounds that might not traditionally sit side by side, creating connections between different musical cultures and inviting the crowd to experience something beyond the familiar.

Expect an evening of global grooves, unexpected sounds and infectious rhythms, as Sebcat brings the energy of Brussels’ diverse underground music scene to TheMerode.

An invitation to dance, discover and connect — and to let the music take you wherever it wants to go.
