Theater night: Memory of Mankind

Is it better to remember or to forget? Join us at the Kunstenfestivaldesarts for Memory of Mankind by Marianne Ségol and Marcus Lindeen (FR with ENG and NL subtitles).

Premiering in Brussels during Kustenfestivaldesarts, Memory of Mankind is taking us to the Austrian Alps at the bottom of a salt mine where lies an archive designed by ceramist Martin Kunze, called "The Memory of Humanity".

Playwright Marianne Ségol and director Marcus Lindeen take us on a captivating performance, raising an existential question: Why would it be better to remember than forget?

Join us for “Memory of Mankind”, an ingenious piece of theatre, that will take you at the heart of human civilization.

The play is in French with English and Dutch subtitles.

*If attendance is not canceled at least 48 hours before the event, the ticket fee will be charged to you.

Marcus Lindeen is a Swedish writer, director and film-maker with a string of awards to his name. Already present at the festival in 2021, he was a great success. Marianne Ségol is a French actress, playwright and translator specialising in Swedish literature.

Kunstenfestivaldesarts is an international performing arts festival dedicated to contemporary theater, dance, performance and visual arts.
