The Rat Race - are we running in circles?

Join Kriticos Mwansa for another ‘No reading required: The book club experience’.

Is the modern pursuit of success a game we must play, or a trap of our own making? Join Kriticos Mwansa for a fresh take on The Book Club Experience, where no prior reading is required—just curiosity and conversation.

In this session, we’ll unpack The Rat Race: the relentless cycle of achievement, busyness, and ambition. Have we confused motion with progress? Are we chasing fulfillment, or just running in place? Kriticos will guide the discussion with key insights from thought-provoking books and ideas, opening the floor for reflection, debate, and unexpected discoveries.

For those who want to dive into some reading beforehand, the discussion is inspired by these books: Charles Duhigg’s The Power of Habit, Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez, Michael A. Singer’s The Untethered Soul, and Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari.

Come share your perspective, challenge assumptions, and connect with a community of open minds. No homework, no pressure—just a conversation worth having.
