An Intimate Gathering Created by Members, for Members
An intimate gathering created by members, for members
Small Circles Networking is a member-led breakfast format designed to spark meaningful conversations within our community.
Hosted at TheStables at 8:15 AM, each session is initiated and led by a fellow member who brings forward a topic, question, or area of expertise to explore with others. The intimate format encourages open dialogue, thoughtful exchange, and genuine connection.
For this session, join fellow-member and author Myriam Sepulchre for a literary conversation around invisibility, the central theme of her latest novel, Anonymous.
Through varied voices and life stories, the novel explores invisibility in its many forms: going unseen, unheard, present yet not fully noticed. There is also a chosen invisibility: a protective distance, a blurring of edges, an anonymity that shields from judgement and makes it possible to carry on. But does invisibility always mean disappearing? Could it not also become a form of freedom, or even of resistance?
Designed for book enthusiasts, curious minds and people seeking to reflect on the world around them, this session will open a debate to prolong the novel with conversation: What do we choose to reveal about ourselves? What do we hide in order to protect ourselves? And who are the people our society no longer sees?
As always, the discussion is designed as an open and collaborative exchange where participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another's perspectives.
Breakfast is at each participant's own cost.
Join the circle, share your insights, and connect with fellow members around the table.
Please note that this roundtable will be held in French.
