An Intimate Gathering Created by Members, for Members
Small Circles Networking is a member-led breakfast format designed to spark meaningful conversations within our community.
Hosted at TheStables at 8:15 AM, each session is initiated and led by a fellow member who brings forward a topic, question, or area of expertise to explore with others. The format is intentionally intimate, encouraging open dialogue, thoughtful exchange, and genuine connection.
For this session, join Dr. Audrey-Flore Ngomsik, CEO of Trianon Scientific Communication, Vice-President of the Brussels Capital Region Climate Committee, and author of a peer-reviewed methodology implemented across more than 180 organisations across six sectors, for an engaging discussion on one of today's most pressing sustainability challenges: greenwashing and socialwashing.
In a world where sustainability claims are increasingly scrutinised by regulators, consumers, and investors, how can organisations communicate credibly and responsibly? And where is the line between genuine commitment and misleading communication?
Through real-life corporate examples and interactive discussion, participants will analyse sustainability claims together, distinguishing between legitimate communication, greenwashing, socialwashing—or sometimes both. The conversation will explore the environmental, social, reputational, and financial consequences of misleading claims, while providing practical tools to help businesses communicate with greater transparency and credibility.
Whether you are an entrepreneur, business leader, consultant, marketer, or simply interested in sustainability, this session will offer valuable insights into how evolving European expectations are reshaping corporate communication and accountability.
As always, the discussion is designed as an open and collaborative exchange where participants are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another's perspectives.
Breakfast is at each participant's own cost.
Join the circle, share your insights, and connect with fellow members around the table.
Please note that this roundtable will be held in English.
