Private Guided Tour of Villa Spazio Nobile

TheMerode invites you to an exclusive guided visit of Villa Spazio Nobile, the private residence of gallery founders Lise Coirier and Gian Giuseppe Simeone in Tervuren.

More than a home, Villa Spazio Nobile is conceived as a living exhibition where contemporary art, collectible design, architecture, and craftsmanship exist in constant dialogue. Every space reflects the gallery's curatorial vision, blurring the boundaries between everyday life and artistic creation while offering a unique insight into the world of contemporary collecting.

Founded in Brussels in 2016, Spazio Nobile has established itself as one of Belgium's leading galleries dedicated to contemporary applied and fine arts. Through ambitious exhibitions, collectible design, limited editions, photography, and the internationally acclaimed publication TLmag, Lise Coirier and Gian Giuseppe Simeone have built a distinctive platform celebrating interdisciplinary artistic practices and the dialogue between art, design, nature, and materiality.

During this exceptional visit, the founders will personally guide members through Roots & Traces, the anniversary exhibition curated specifically for the villa. Bringing together the work of nearly thirty international artists and designers, the exhibition reflects on the cultural, material, and human influences that have shaped Spazio Nobile over the past decade. Through artworks, collectible design pieces, and site-specific installations, participants will discover how themes of nature, memory, craftsmanship, and architecture intertwine throughout the house.

Beyond the exhibition itself, guests will gain a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on the founders' curatorial approach, the evolution of Spazio Nobile over the past ten years, and the role of Villa Spazio Nobile as an extension of the gallery—a place where collecting, living, and creating become inseparable.

The guided visit will begin promptly at 10 AM. We kindly ask participants to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour, by their own means.
