An Immersion into the World of Victor Horta
Step inside one of Brussels’ most remarkable landmarks with an exclusive guided tour of the Palais des Beaux-Arts, inaugurated in 1928 on the Mont des Arts. Designed by the visionary Belgian architect Victor Horta, this architectural gem reflects his ambition to create a cultural hub that is open, human-scaled, and accessible to all.
Blending the refined curves of Art Nouveau with the clean geometry of Art Deco, the Palais showcases Horta’s mastery in shaping spaces that are both functional and poetic. Spread across 8,000 square meters and eight interconnected levels, the building was conceived to host a wide range of artistic expressions — from concerts and theater performances to film screenings, exhibitions, and conferences.
At its heart lies the legendary Henry Le Bœuf Hall, a 2,200-seat concert hall celebrated for its acoustic excellence and timeless grandeur.
After fifteen years of meticulous restoration, the Palais des Beaux-Arts has regained its original splendor. Hidden passageways have been reopened, architectural details restored, and the space reimagined to meet the demands of the modern era — offering visitors a renewed glimpse into Horta’s genius and the living heritage of Belgian design.
The guided tour starts at 18:30 sharp, we kindly ask you to arrive between 18h and 18h15 maximum, by your own means.
