After more than a decade working within the cosmetics sector, Sophie began questioning the complexity of conventional beauty products and the impact of their ingredients on both people and the environment. Guided by a simple conviction — less is more — she founded MakeSenz in Brussels in 2011, creating a brand dedicated to simple, effective, and certified organic skincare.

During this intimate conversation, Sophie will share the story behind MakeSenz, the values that continue to drive the company today, and the challenges and lessons learned while growing a purpose-driven business. Participants will discover how MakeSenz has developed a unique approach to beauty through carefully selected natural ingredients, direct relationships with producers, refill systems, reusable packaging, and a philosophy centred on consuming less, but better.

As an extension of this inspiring exchange, guests will also take part in a hands-on workshop where they will create their own personalised 100% natural and certified organic facial serum (30ml). Guided by the MakeSenz team, participants will discover the properties of different botanical ingredients while crafting a skincare product tailored to their own needs.
