A Collaboration with Caroline Purgal for a Jewellery Gouache Painting workshop
Meet Caroline Purgal, founder of Misogyne Jewellery, and discover the world of contemporary jewellery through her artistic practice, from sculpture and contemporary jewellery to bespoke fine jewellery.
The experience will begin with a conversation and introduction to Caroline’s journey, exploring how her encounters with clients, their stories, gemstones and family jewellery have shaped her practice. Through “NON ESSENTIEL”, she will also question what jewellery represents beyond its material value — desire, identity, memory, heritage and transmission.
The experience will then become hands-on, with an introduction to jewellery gouache, the traditional technique used to illustrate jewellery designs. Following a short demonstration, Caroline will guide you step by step as you create your own jewellery design.
No artistic or technical experience is required, and each participant will leave with their own creation.
A creative and intimate experience combining art, craftsmanship, storytelling and jewellery, offering a unique opportunity to discover the art of jewellery drawing and meet the artist behind Misogyne Jewellery.
Note that this workshop will be hosted in French.
