Dr. Amélie Férey and Pr. Yossi Mekelberg will delve into the current state of affairs, the impact on both societies, and the broader implications for the region.
A year after the terrorist attacks led by Hamas in Israel, the Gaza strip as well as the Middle East are increasingly mired in conflict, with both Israeli and Palestinian societies under immense strain and few prospects for a sustainable ceasefire.
What does the future hold for Gaza and Israeli-Palestinian relations? How has the public debate on the conflict evolved? What roles can the US and EU play in the current war and peace efforts? And what are the risks of the conflict spreading further in the Mashreq region?
Join us as Dr. Amélie Férey and Prof. Yossi Mekelberg share their insights and analysis on the conflict and the potential paths forward, exploring both immediate and long-term implications.
