Bringing Buildings Back to Life: Reimagining the Workplace

What if the answer to empty office buildings isn’t more square metres, but a better experience? And what makes people choose to come to the office again?

Work has changed. Companies now look for places their teams want to come to, while many buildings still sit underused. Owners lose value, and occupiers lose engagement.

In this workshop, Pierre Colaiacovo, CEO and Founder of (re)space, shares how hospitality can turn underused office buildings into places that perform. He draws on (re)space’s own sites in Brussels, from the EU Quarter to the Airport district: buildings brought back to life through flexible offices, meetings and events, community programming and food experiences.

You’ll come away with a fresh view of the office as a destination: what drives demand, what makes employees want to come in, and how a better experience creates value for occupiers and owners alike.
