Start your day with art and good company: a morning visit of ‘In Sole Ambulare’ by Emmanuelle Indekeu, TheMerode’s curator.

Immerse yourself in the complex and bewildering universe of Albert Camus’ famous novel “L’Etranger”. Inspired by the enigmatic character of Meursault, this exhibition explores the underlying themes of the work.

Entitled "In Sole Ambulare", the exhibition features the Sun, omnipresent in the novel, as a character in its own right. It burns, dazzles, and acts as a revelator, bringing out the "truth" and cruelty of the world. 

“In Sole Ambulare” confronts us with our own otherness, our own absurdity. It invites us to walk in Meursault’s footsteps and explore the intricacies of the human soul.
