Dr. Peru Dharani leads corporate innovation at Barco, a global tech company specializing in cutting-edge visualization solutions. With a background in electronics engineering, he pursued a joint master's program in optical physics across multiple European universities and conducted groundbreaking research on light-matter interactions during his doctoral studies at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Prior roles include contributions at Eastman Chemical, Huawei Technologies, and Intel Corporation.

Peru is deeply passionate about science and technology and how it can lead to a better life for us and our planet. In this regard, he volunteers with Chapter Zero Brussels, an NGO that focuses on creating awareness on climate issues at a board level within companies that can accelerate impactful change. He is also a fellow with Belgium’s 40 under 40 community that takes young leaders on a journey of personal and leadership development centered on meaning, societal responsibility, and impact.
