Beginning his journey as a Medical Doctor specializing in rheumatology, he rose through the ranks to become UCB's CEO on January 1, 2015, following his successful tenure as Executive Vice President of UCB's BioBrands and Solutions division. A member of UCB's Board of Directors, he also holds key roles in prestigious industry organizations including the Biopharmaceutical CEOs Roundtable (BCR), the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Associations (EFPIA), and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
