Rune Theill is an experienced entrepreneur who is passionate about building startup ecosystems. He is experienced in creating accelerator programs and mentor-based programs and loves to support other entrepreneurs to succeed. He is the co-founder and CEO of Rockstart, a global startup accelerator and early-stage VC that supports and empowers the best startups on their way to success. Rockstart has accelerated more than 300 startups, which have raised a total of more than €260 million at an aggregate valuation of more than €1 billion.
In addition to launching a couple of startups, Rune also took an active role in the Danish Startup Ecosystem working for Startupbootcamp and Venture Cup. Rune was also the Winner of the Dutch Startup Award as the Best Investor in 2012 and 2013. Additionally, he has expertise within business strategy, business development, team leadership, marketing, and much more.
