Charlotte Deleval, actress and historian, presents her debut novel, “Les Bannis: Les premières pierres”.

It’s the first volume in a trilogy of books within the popular yet complex genre of historical science fiction.

On the lush planet Illyr, rebellion rumbles and pits the Illyrians against the prosperous earth colony. In this context, four characters with opposing beliefs meet: a politician lost in his ambitions, an adventurer in search of meaning, a prisoner hungry for revenge and a wanderer of mixed blood. Between revolts and repressions, friendships and betrayals, the destinies of these four people are intrinsically linked. All will go down in history.

In conversation with Pierre Hermant, Charlotte will talk about the conception of the novel series and the power of self-publishing, as well as the themes and events from history that are reworked and placed in a science-fiction context.

Before and after the talk, mingle with the speakers and audience over drinks and have your book signed by the author herself.

Book available for sale on Amazon from June 14th, feel free to bring your copy. Books will also be on sale on the night itself
