Sotheby’s invites TheMerode’s members for a private tour of the Luxury Edit exhibition featuring jewellery, watches, handbags, wines and spirits from the next luxury sale.
During the Luxury Edit exhibition in Brussels, Sotheby’s will showcase highlights of its upcoming luxury sales happening in March 2023.
Handbags, fine watches and jewels from the Paris sales will be on public exhibition from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th February in the gallery in Brussels. The opportunity to see some of the most attractive and collectible vintage and modern watches signed by celebrated makers such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet or Cartier to name a few, fine jewels and Hermès featuring its two most popular handbags models: the Kelly and the Birkin with a wide selection of exceptional and rare quality pieces.
About Marianna Lora:
Marianna Lora joined Sotheby’s Belgium in 2010 where she is currently Specialist for jewellery & Old Masters and in charge of Valuations and Events. Prior to joining Sotheby’s, she spent three years at the Louvre Museum as Assistant Curator, then four years at the Sorbonne University as Junior Lecturer in Italian Renaissance Art.
Marianna Lora is a frequent lecturer and has been published in numerous journals. She is the coauthor of Nudité Sacrée. Le nu dans l’art religieux de la Renaissance, entre érotisme, dévotion et censure (Paris, 2011).
